competition Terms & conditions

1. Promoter

• This competition is organised and operated by VAUVA, a premium children’s clothing brand focused on love, hope, dream, and explore.

2. Eligibility

• The Competition is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry: (a) are legal residents of the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; (b) are aged 25 years or older; and (c) are the parent or legal guardian of the child submitted in the entry.

• The child submitted must be aged 4 to 5 years old at the time of entry.

• Only one (1) entry per eligible parent or legal guardian per child is permitted, unless otherwise expressly stated by Vauva.

• By entering, the entrant represents and warrants that all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete.

3. Competition Period

• The Competition begins on April 06, 2026 and ends at April 12, 2026

• Entries received after the end of the Competition Period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

• Like the official competition post on Vauva’s Instagram page.

• Follow Vauva’s instagram (@thevauva)

• Submit a completed entry form on the competition landing page, including:

-Your full name and email address

-Your child’s name, age and photo

-Confirmation of parental/legal guardian status

• Consent to these Terms & Conditions and image usage rights.

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

• Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, altered, or non-compliant entries may be disqualified in Vauva's sole discretion.

Entry Requirements

• The submitted photo and any accompanying text or materials must:

(a) be the entrant's own submission or a submission the entrant has the legal right to provide;

(b) depict only the entrant's child or children for whom the entrant has legal authority to provide consent;

(c) not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;

(d) not contain defamatory, unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content; and (e) not include any brand names, logos, watermarks, or third-party promotional content, other than Vauva-branded items if applicable.

• Vauva reserves the right to remove, reject, or disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or that is otherwise inconsistent with Vauva's brand values or safeguarding standards.

5. Prize

• Each winner will receive the opportunity for their child to be featured as a "Face of Vauva Canada" in Vauva content and marketing materials, subject to execution of any additional winner documentation required by Vauva, including a winner release and photoshoot consent form.

• Each winner prize includes:

(a) participation in a professional photoshoot arranged by Vauva in the Greater Toronto Area;

(b) The Vauva outfit worn during the photoshoot will be gifted to the winner as part of the prize.

(c) feature opportunities across Vauva-owned marketing channels, subject to the additional winner release.

• Any costs or expenses not expressly stated as part of the prize, including transportation, meals, accommodation, incidental expenses, or additional wardrobe/accessories, are the sole responsibility of the winner and/or parent or legal guardian.

• The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash, except at Vauva's sole discretion.

6.Winner Selection

• Winner(s) will be selected by a panel of judges from Vauva’s Canada and Hong Kong team based on creativity, appeal, and alignment with the brand’s values.

• Judging will take place in April 25, 2026.

7. Winner Notification

• Selected entrants will be contacted using the contact information provided at the time of entry.

• If a selected entrant:

(a) cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the first attempted contact;

(b) fails to respond within the time requested;

(c) fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements;

(d) fails to complete and return required declarations, releases, or consents within the time requested; or

8. Publicity, Image Rights, and Winner Release

• By entering the Competition, the entrant confirms that they have the legal authority to submit the child's image and related personal information for the limited purposes of administering the Competition, judging entries, contacting entrants, and, where applicable, announcing winners and arranging prize fulfilment.

• Entry submission does not by itself grant Vauva unlimited commercial exploitation rights in all submitted content. Except as set out in these Terms & Conditions, any broader promotional or commercial use of a winner's or finalist's image may be subject to a separate written release, consent form, or model release.

• By accepting a prize, the winner and the winner's parent or legal guardian agree that Vauva may photograph and record the child in connection with the prize photoshoot and may use the resulting materials in accordance with the additional release documentation provided to the winner.

• Unless separately agreed in writing, Vauva will not publish the child's surname, school name, exact address, or other unnecessary identifying information.

• Vauva may edit, crop, resize, retouch, or adapt winner materials for formatting, production, and brand consistency, subject to the rights granted in the winner release documentation.

9. Privacy

• Personal information collected in connection with this Competition will be handled by Vauva in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and Vauva's Privacy Policy.

• Vauva may collect personal information such as:

(a) parent or legal guardian name;

(b) email address and other contact details;

(c) child's first name or nickname;

(d) child's age or age bracket;

(e) city of residence;

(f) submitted photographs; and

(g) any additional information submitted as part of the entry.

• This information will be used only for legitimate Competition-related purposes, including:

(a) administering the Competition;

(b) validating eligibility;

(c) contacting entrants;

(d) selecting and confirming winners;

(e) arranging prize fulfilment and photoshoots; and

(f) maintaining appropriate records relating to the Competition.

• Entrant and child personal information will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes unless the entrant has provided a separate express opt-in consent where required by law.

• Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the Competition, manage any resulting winner relationship, meet legal or audit requirements, and resolve disputes, after which it will be securely deleted, anonymized, or destroyed.

• Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information, or inquire about Vauva's privacy practices, by contacting cs@mylittlekorner.ca.

10. Safeguarding and Photoshoot Conditions

• Vauva is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children involved in its campaigns.

• Any prize-related photoshoot must be attended at all times by the child's parent or legal guardian.

• Vauva reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify the photoshoot for operational, safety, production, talent, health, or force majeure reasons.

• Vauva may decline to proceed with a photoshoot or participation if, in its reasonable opinion, safeguarding, conduct, health, or safety concerns arise.

11. Disqualification and Cancellation

• Vauva reserves the right to verify all entries and entrants.

• Vauva may disqualify any entrant who:

(a) breaches these Terms & Conditions;

(b) provides false or misleading information;

(c) tampers with the entry process or Competition operation; or

(d) acts in a disruptive, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate manner.

• If the Competition cannot be administered as planned due to technical failure, fraud, unauthorized intervention, platform issues, public safety issues, legal developments, or any cause beyond Vauva's reasonable control, Vauva reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition.

12. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vauva and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, agencies, and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising out of or related to:

(a) entry into the Competition;

(b) acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize;

(c) technical failures, delays, or platform interruptions;

(d) lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or corrupted entries; or

(e) any photoshoot, travel, attendance, or production-related incident, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Platform Disclaimer

• This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, or any other third-party platform on which it may be promoted.

• By participating, entrants release Instagram and Meta from responsibility in relation to the Competition to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Acceptance of Terms

• By submitting an entry, the entrant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
