1. Promoter
This competition is run by Vauva, a children's clothing brand based.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to UK residents only, aged 25 or over.
Entrants must be the parent or legal guardian of the child submitted.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Employees of Vauva and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
The child submitted must be under 5 years of age at the time of entry.
3. Competition Period
The competition opens at 17:00 BST on 17th July 2025 and closes at 23:59 BST on 10th August 2025.
Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter the competition, you must:

Submit a completed entry form on the competition landing page, including:
Your full name and email address
Your child’s name, age and photo
Confirmation of parental/legal guardian status
Consent to these Terms & Conditions and image usage rights.
5. Prize
Winner(s) will be selected to have their child become the "Face of Vauva" across social media and marketing campaigns.
The winner’s child will participate in a professional photoshoot arranged by Vauva in the UK (London). A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child at all times during the photoshoot. All safeguarding protocols will be followed, and only vetted professionals will be involved in campaign production.
Travel costs for the child and parent/guardian to attend the photoshoot will not be covered by Vauva. No other financial compensation is provided.
The child’s imagery (photos and video) may be edited or combined with other media, and will be used by Vauva globally and in perpetuity, including on social media, websites, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
No financial prize is offered.
6. Selection of Winner(s)
The winner(s) will be selected by a panel of judges from the internal Vauva team based on creativity, appeal, and suitability for the brand.
Judging will take place in August 2025.
Judging criteria include creativity, originality, and alignment with Vauva’s brand values.
7. Notification of Winner(s)
The winner(s) will be contacted via the email address provided during entry.
If the winner(s) does not respond within 7 days of notification, Vauva reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. Consent and Usage Rights
By entering, you confirm you have the legal right to submit your child’s image and grant Vauva the unrestricted, royalty-free right to use submitted content worldwide, in perpetuity, across all media formats (online and offline), for promotional and commercial purposes.
Submitted images may be cropped, edited, or combined with other content. The child’s surname or identifying details (e.g. school, location) will not be published.
The winner agrees for their child to participate in a professional photoshoot, with resulting content used across Vauva marketing materials and channels.
All imagery will be handled in accordance with Vauva’s Privacy Policy.
An additional model release form will be sent to the winner(s) once selected.
9. Data Protection
All personal data will be processed in accordance with current UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal data and images submitted will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes of this competition and marketing activities.
10. General
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Vauva reserves the right to amend or cancel this competition at any time without notice.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook or Instagram).
11. Safeguarding
Vauva is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children involved in its campaigns. Photoshoots will be conducted in a safe and professional environment with appropriate safeguarding measures in place. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child at all times. All individuals involved in the campaign production will be appropriately vetted.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
